My tiny startup just hit $1k MRR (solo-founder)

Hi all, this may seem tiny compared to what some of you make with your side-projects, but I just hit the $1k MRR milestone for www.startups.fyi and I'm over the moon.

The website usually makes around $3-$5k/mo on average, but this is $1k in recurring revenue and that's what makes it so special.

I'm a solo-founder in the UK and though this doesn't go very far, it's a step in the right direction.

Unclear about your business model, but it seems the product (list of bootstrapped side-projects) generates leads for your productized service (brainstorming call - $125 for 30 min). No pricing for listing a project, so assuming it's free.

    $1K/mo / $125/call = 8 calls/mo.

    Congrats!

What's the difference between $/mo on avg and recurring revenue? Is the former turnover?

    Amazing!

What is your source of revenue? Is it classic ad-sense revenue?
