I have been experimenting with ChatGPT, ChatPDF and other tools in my spare time. Last month I showcased some of the tools to my manager and casually mentioned that someone could use it to build a "Ask me questions about data" tool in a similar format. That proved to be a mistake.

First, he went ahead and shared this chatbot idea to his superior. Now in all our 1-on-1 meeting he is always pushing to create a chatbot.

I have tried explaining to him that LLM are fairly new. While the technology might be cool, ChatGPT isn't ready for prod releases. There are questions about data privacy. There is going to be ChatGPT Business but that is not out yet. Additionally, there are security issues and hallucinations.

But as per him Chatbot is an old technology. His colleagues at another company have been creating chatbots for past 3-4 years. So, he doesn't understand why I keep pushing back.

So, I want to share some info about these "chatbots being created for 3-4 years" vs ChatGPT.

Please help me with any links on Dialogflow or any other chatbot tech vs ChatGPT.
