For those who might contribute to entrepreneurial endeavours without seeking a personal return what are you looking for to even consider such companies?

    It’s exceedingly rare to find people who will willingly donate to a for-profit without equity or profit interest.

    Generally either doing a non-profit and raising from philanthropists, or a for-profit and raising equity capital, will be much easier.
