Banks control the deal you can get as a payment provider if you want to process credit cards and they will never offer you a deal that will let you profitably offer a differentiated service. (e.g. look at the Google Pay fiasco)

    >Musk seems to be embracing increasingly radical view

He's always been right-wing and susceptible to conspiracy theories. The only change is that how often he speaks on these views. He seems to really dislike the reality that people knowing his beliefs will hurt his businesses.

    > Three barriers exist for Musk to succeed with his “X” idea. The first is, people outside of Asia don’t like “super apps.”

    >Second, as I’ve detailed before, Musk is proving incompetent about media, both social and mainstream.

    >And third, Elon Musk is becoming too reviled a person to succeed with an app that works only if nearly everyone buys into it.

    >Musk seems to be embracing increasingly radical views — the kind one gets from trolls, shitposters and Russian disinformation agents on 4chan.
