Dealing with Chronic Fatigue

by amit5624 on 5/20/23, 3:49 PM with 3 comments

Hello all, I have this contant fatigue that never ceases to exist. Even if i have good 8 hours sleep I wake up feeling lethargic and tired in the morning I do get good amount of sleep. It is easy for me to fall asleep in the night The day seems hard to bear. My eyes feel heavy, forehead feel heavy and generally I need a good 2 hours sleep in the afternoon yo feel ok. I have been going through thus since last 15 years of my life, right when I hit puberty.

Is there anyone who is in the same boat as me? Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to overcome this? I have consulted every medical speciality without any relief

You reminded me the case of Nicholas Zakas [1]. Please read it carefully and make an appointment to your personal doctor to check you for lyme disease; it matches your case since you have mentioned the number of years you are dealing with this chronic issue.

Could be me/cfs, the defining feature is unrefreshing sleep but also "crashing" after overexertion, usually a day later. As mentioned you should look at r/cfs. Many people with cfs like myself have found Low Dose Naltrexone (LDN) useful, but it's not widely known about.

https://www.reddit.com/r/cfs/ or similar might be a better place to ask this.
