Weathfront no longer supports micro-deposit based authentication if the bank is supported by Yodlee. And when you link your account with Yodlee, WF automatically pulls 1 year of history from your bank account and keeps pulling new transactions [0].

They clearly have the option to use Yodlee's API only for verification and give people the option to include transaction history, but they don't allow people to opt out of it.

I only use WF for investing. I can't transfer money without linking my account and handing over my data.

We need stronger privacy regulations in this space.
