These contestants are essentially earning themselves, real, long-lasting damaging disabilities.
The head of Nevada State Athletic Commission now regrets their decision [1]. But so what, this is still going on.
Were there bribes involved?
In boxing, UFC -- if one opponent cannot defend himself -- the fight will stop. In here the Nevada State Athletic commission -- expressly allowed zero-defense setup as central piece of the 'sport'
Dana white legacy will not be UFC, it will be this disability-creating, public mutilation of adults.
300lb athletes running into each others knees and spines, full speed -- is hardly much better, I agree.
I just do not get this at all.
These participants have practically no chance of walking away with no brain damage after these 'competitions' How can this be ok?
