  S-M-A-R-T goals are Specific Measurable Attainable Realistic Timely

  Better:

  I want to learn [specific topic]

  I will measure my attainment by [method of measure] at these particular milestones [list]

  I will use the [technique] method to learn the topic.

  I will schedule to learn my new topic according to this schedule [schedule] which fits into my normal schedule.
