Beyond the inside of the house competition, you have no idea if your code will ever be deployed.

Or who wrote it without forensics. A relative of mine recently bragged to me his son got a job at defense contractor A. I had to hold it in to not say, so he's guaranteed to not write a line of deployed software for the next 20 years.

You need to start asking yourselves, if software production is a joke, who's laughing?

This industry sold you and I down the river 17 years ago, wake up and do something with your life before its too late.
