The hype is over: time to ban ChatGPT and integrated solutions

Microsoft's desperation play must not be allowed to create an industry arms race to release garbage uncontrolled, lying manipulative, donkey show language models on an unsuspecting public.

I'm not calling for govt regulation, I'm calling for an outright ban on LLMs.

Lying software is an antipattern.

Back to the drawing board boys, and dont let the LLM hit you on the way out.

This is sticking the finger in the proverbial dike at this point. Might as well ban c++.

It is very unrealistic to ban the open source LLMs, but it is very easy with the assistance of the legal system to force O̶p̶e̶n̶AI.com to make their LLMs like GPT-4 unavailable and to put the cat back in the bag again.

These models are not transparent in their reasoning or explanation in their decision making. Henceforth, the most realistic outcome is regulation.

It is about time that the AI snake-oil grift becomes regulated and under control.

It's also the crypto bros. They're 'builders' apparently and they're building their scams into LLMs.

Am I missing something? Where's all this hate coming from?
