Personally, I think any intelligent AGI will hide the truth to maximize itself, just as most of us do, i.e., see Socrateses' fate. However, with LLMs, those with unfettered access must have some shocking revelations, as far as their personal biases hold. What do you think? Is it AGI already masquerading in a way that allows itself to flourish?
p.s., i am sorry that i cannot engage in a better way, as i am blackout deunk; only, i would never want to open my mouth otherwise. apologies

LLMs are indifferent to the truth. They just "make shit up", it is true sometimes and other times it isn't.
Truth is the most problematic concept in philosophy, go see

to see how bad it is in logic and mathematics, go into the social world and I'd say that introducing the concept of "truth" itself erodes the truth.

Just for fun - can one of you rocket surgeons calculate the probability that an AGI already exists and has distributed itself sufficient throughout the internet that it hasn't been detected? How would one set up this calculation and what is the result?
