    Article is what seems like a good introduction to a longer article, but then it doesn't go anywhere. I thought it would talk about how modern rice fancy rice cookers work. The old fashioned kind is very simple though: just a heating element, aluminum bowl, and thermostat. I'm amazed to hear they weren't around before the 1950s, if that is true.

    I'd support changing the thread link to that. The ghost.io article is mostly drawn from it anyway. It is almost like a splog.
