by Fazel94 on 2/16/23, 2:36 PM with 2 comments

e.g. Is it going to bring down foreign labor influx?, Is it there gonna be more startups or opensource?

At the end can include your guestimate of the effects?

IMO, obvious one is decrease in salary increases(maybe to the usual 2-3 percent).

Next one is job hopping is going to be harder(can't get much more by that).

Foreigners are going to have harder time(maybe even halved, though their lower expectation can play well into the hands of the companies).

Remote work by foreigners are sought after(major increase).

Outsourcing will return. The search for the 10x developer has started. DIE intiatives will be gutted, and anything with out a direct impact of revenue streams. More Elon Musk style executives will emerge.

Entry and Mid level tech jobs in the united states will disappear while Experts will find more work than they can handle.

Trust and being vetted will become super important to business, as social activists leaking information and undermining the business are known well in the public space.

P.S. I work in hiring and with a lot of executives.
