    @dang Please consider this submission for the second-chance pool. This is a really nice interview with a lot of inside history (prototypes/sketches) into a piece of computing UI that has becoming pretty much iconic.

    Hi Daniel, thank you for sharing this great interview and an inside view to how the Windows desktop evolved over time.

    Please also consider submitting your sketches and prototypes to an online archive such as archive.org it really would be a shame not to preserve this. They already have a large collection 'The Internet Archive Software Collection' which contains quite a lot of historic windows content. Perhaps reach out to them directly and ask if there is a better way to archive these.
