  One things I want in my idea tracker is the abilities to a) Add context over time b) Grade my ideas, probably simply from 1 to 10 based on how much depth I think they have. Most of my ideas start out unverified and without context and when I share my idea or do more research about it or even think more about it, I always find some nuances, additional context, modifications or the best is that even better ideas come out.

  What you need is an electronic notebook synced of whatever form: Apple notes, Emacs with Git, whatever floats your boat. It has to electronic and it has to be sync to all the platforms you work on.

  Then you either create a new file or just add an entry whenever you want to add something to your idea inbox, or whatever else and it can grow from there as necesasry.
