I had the same problem described by others here, and the latest update fixed it. Before the update, when I used Firefox or Chrome, malwarebytes said various google urls were blocked, when I tried to access google. Same thing happened accessing various non-google websites, with the same warning about google urls blocked. BTW I'm one of the new accounts mentioned below :-)

Malwarebytes desktop app freaking out over Google services here. Keeps blocking the app from trying to access various Google services and subdomains. Google.com also was being blocked. Added chrome.exe to the Allow list for web processes and it stopped alerting.

launch Malwarebytes on the far right go to the cog wheel.
On the left click check for updates.
After you are updated to package version 1.0.60360 they say that it will resolve the google problem.
