Reviewing some new Rust text editors

    Helix is really cool. I've been using it for a few months as my main editor, the defaults are great and LSP works seamlessly out of the box. My config file is only 9 lines long, and most of them are to change the cursor to match different modes.

    I'll echo the sentiment that helix is great, but I still think the default behaviour of selecting words as you navigate with w,e,b to be strange and a bit counterproductive in most text editing (at least for me).

    There's a few other small things missing still - specifically marks and a git gutter - but once those are improved upon it very likely will become my daily editor!

    I really like helix, but the one thing I miss most from kakoune is the ability to just hold down shift and press hjkl or arrow keys and get a nice selection going.
