Ask HN: Have you authored a GitHub Repo?

I know a lot of members have contributed to repos but I'm wondering if this community authors many open source projects? (and would like to show it off)

Well, w/ the aid of gitbook.com, pretty literally authored:

    https://willadams.gitbook.io/design-into-3d/

which is an attempt to document how to make projects such as boxes w/ joinery on a CNC.

and there's somewhere on GitHub where the underlying files are stored/referenced from -- does that count?

Kind of, yes and no? I have many (probably too many) repos, and while none of them are explicitly open-source, I've never really cared if anyone wanted to fork or contribute to any of my projects. That said, I also know myself well enough to know I will abandon most of my personal projects, so I don't really advertise or market them unless they come close to fruition first, so... shrug
