  This is just a planned city and it's something that the U.S. has done quite a bit of, contrary to the post's indication that the U.S. is incapable of such. Read up on Irvine, CA https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irvine,_California See also the history of Sandy Springs Georgia (similar size to Jiaolong https://www.huffpost.com/entry/sandy-springs-georgia-privati... )

  I'm glad to see these experiments, but it would have only taken 2 minutes of research to see there is nothing "sovereign" about Jiaolong, it's a city in China governed by China.
