Please do not use North Carolina as a metonym for state house representative Ben Moss, the sole sponsor of the bill in question. This is not something that is on anyones radar as an issue aside from him.

"We're going to cutoff our half-hearted attempt at green transportation mostly used by rich people to spite our grandchildren's survival. Yeah!"

High tech in North Carolina peaked with the Wright Brothers at Kitty Hawk and it's been downhill ever since

This is like Poe's law for, well laws.

It reads like a parody, intentionally written to make people who would support it look bad.

I have to hope that even in America, where banning municipal fibre and WiFi is a thing, that this is a step too far.

I'll freak out when they actually do this

Quality of life in North Carolina is obnoxiously high especially in the Triangle and Charlotte

Also with the tax differential between NC and NY I can install my own charger in weeks

You know pretty soon we’re going to be a looking at a failed state with the way we’re sliding into a plutocracy
