Ask HN: What are some companies you refuse to work for?

    Uber. Facebook. Google. Amazon.

    Neither of these would hire me anyway.

    Deutsche Bank: for me they are since a few years synonymous with an criminal organization; big oil: too much reasons

    recently went through a job search. what I learned about where I didn't want to work:

    * any startup as an employee. I just can't be sold on your stupid idea.

    * health tech. health industry in general is just messed up.

    * companies with bad reputation for WLB. What's the point? The numbers don't add up.

    Generally any sort of military/defense company.
