    Moved to the city.

I grew up in a farming town. When I was a teen, it was obvious to me that I'd be unemployed all year except summers if I stayed there. And my interest was in technology, of which there was basically none in the town.

I was working for a cleaning company, and they lost the contract. They said if I moved to the city, they'd keep me employed. I packed up and moved within days. I stayed with the cleaning company for a couple years later, then got my first tech job and the rest is history. I've never looked back.

Went vegetarian ~13 years ago. No regrets, no problems, no complaints.
