  if you have any long term subscriptions on the internet that you are not sure of, i suggest cancelling them as soon as you subscribe (assuming they dont immediately stop the subscription).

  when the subscription nears its end, they will contact you to ask if you want to continue your subscription.

  if you don’t do this, you will be resubscribed at the next payment date, and you’ll find out afterwards.

  not great if you don’t actually use the subscription. this way, you don’t pay for stuff you forget about or don’t use and can evaluate whether you want to continue before you pay again.
