What freelance platforms cannot prevent: Narcissism

Author needs to grow a backbone.

You can say “yes” to this. What are they going to do, leave a bad review? That already was the outcome. You could also say:
“No, I’ll do a revision if my work didn’t complete the agreed upon project. As far as I can tell, I completed that project. This looks like a new project. If you’d like me to consider this new project, please open a new ticket here.”
Consider the behavior you reward. Would the author have done that much work for free if the client followed the rules and was kind? Probably not. If you offer a narcissist discount, don’t be surprised if your clients are narcissists.

I am surrounded by variously defined types of narcissists who consistently make life hell. Nearly every job I've ever had spanning multiple careers there were always at least an unavoidable few obliviously or intentionally making life miserable for everyone around them. But it get's worse, every one of my maternal cousins, aunts and uncles have varying degrees of the various clinical types, also my father is type iii and brother type ii, my sister married a sociopath, my neighbor is a raging type ii, and maybe 20% of my friends from high school and college are also living with narcissism (idk how to put it, wish the disorder had a name that wasn't also pugilistic). Personally speaking, I've had quite enough of narcissistic abuse to last 10 lifetimes, and I sure wish some space program-sized initiative would finally solve it and give us reasonable folk effective tools to deal with all the narcissists that seem to have now infiltrated every corner of my world.

Sounds like Hell... some people are like that unfortunately. I think these platforms givingbthem victims can only make them worse.
