Does anyone at Twitter? Whenever I open the official app, I feel like I'm attacked by middle-manager KPI hacks. "Follow this!" "Try that!" "Ad!" "More topics for you!" "Ad!" "People who ate a sandwich also liked this!" "Rando replied to another rando" "Topics!" "More Topics!" "Toooooopics we beg you!" (and "see less often" is as effective as door close elevator buttons)
In this cacophony I can't find tweets from the people I follow. If I wasn't using a (dying) 3rd party app that removes all of this nonsense, I wouldn't be using Twitter any more.

Can't read it because of the forced-login growth hacks. I'm already effectively addicted to twitter on my personal computer and phone. Do they really need to make sure they make me log in on one more device?

Maybe few tweets every month is exactly how you are supposed to use it.

Social media is the new smoking, and of course social media execs don't use it. They know how bad it is for you.

That's fine. If I saw how the sausage was made, I probably wouldn't eat it either.

Well Jack only started tweeting after he left the Twitter CEO position.

I mean, wouldn't be surprised if the CEO has an alt. Have you seen how much shit he got for that one joke that was quoting another joke that was slightly anti-white?

Creation is different from consumption.
Most content on social media platforms are disproportionately created by power users.
