I like the Apple Watch/iOS/Mac as platforms but swift has been a bit of a struggle because the community is smaller than the JS community (and all my friends are web devs).

People make decent swift tutorials but when I'm tweaking stuff to work for me, it's hard to understand what the underlying models are/what best practice is.

Because of that, I've wanted to get a mentor but I'm not really sure what a great way to do this is. Does anyone have recommendations? There don't seem to be any active local iOS dev meetups here.
