I started building this because I loved to play music with friends when I was younger. It became harder to do since I moved from my home town to study and work. I also like to write poetry and stories, so I thought it would be great if other people could also collaborate with their own views and ideas.
There are other music collaboration apps out there, but they're mostly designed for professionals, thus hard to use. Zipstage is intended to be very easy to use.
Any feedback will be absolutely welcome.
On Zipstage, users can create and publish content through 3 tools, called Release, Mix, and Extension.
* Release: Create new content. Example: - you can record a musical instrument; - record your voice while singing a song; - tell a story; - recite a poem; - etc.
* Mix: Record an audio track over other people's content. Example: - you can record a musical instrument over someone else's voice; - sing over a musical instrument published by yourself or someone else; - record a musical instrument over someone else's storytelling or poetry; - etc.
* Extension: Continue a topic initiated by other people. Example: - you can continue a story that someone else started; - participate in a discussion about a specific topic that you care for; - create and participate in jokes, quizzes, and other kinds of games; - etc.
