    I think this is a real testament to factors of safety. In construction, you need something to hold 150 lbs, then it need to be designed to hold 1000 lbs. Prob the same for these penetration performance ratings.

    Anyway, this was a great read. Glad to see the phone survivied!

    I know someone whose iPhone 6 was lost in a snowbank for a month. Worked fine after the snow had melted enough to spot it.

    TL;DR: iPhone 13 Pro fell out of my pocket while tubing down a river. Scuba diver recovered it 26 hours later, and it's in nearly perfect condition.
