    "Don't buy smart TVs, they are loathsome privacy vampires that treat you as the product." That's what I would say, if there were any intersection between my priorities and the priorities of people buying smart TVs. Instead, I save my breath.

    Obviously I'm very much in favour of smart TVs carking it. I won't rejoice in case perceived as unsympathetic.

    I'd be more concerned about, ooh, ATMs, for example. What should we _actually_ be worried about? Defibrillators? Check-in kiosks... aeroplanes?

    "The problem is something that we all deal with on a regular basis without too much issue: Certificates have an expiry date and need replacing."

    So long for planed obsolencence.
