    No, it isn't. Virtue signalling victim-blaming.

    Making cement, smelting iron and making steel, transport. Extracting, refining, and distributing fossil fuels.

    All of these things are much bigger in terms of emissions.

    Yes, food production is a middle-league emitter (about 4% of fossil fuel energy consumption), but waste is a relatively small part of that.
