    AllSpice cofounder here. We launched AllSpice Hub in closed beta earlier this year. The idea came after working in consumer electronics for several years and becoming extremely frustrated by the complexity of reviewing and releasing electronics, especially when scaling a startup. Collaboration and VCS were either way too heavy and required a dedicated admin or weren't built to support electronics. Our philosophy is pretty simple: pull best practices from SW/FW development and apply it to hardware. Make it customizable and use industry-standard formats.

    We integrate with Altium Designer natively, but have other tools on the way. With AllSpice Hub users get:

    * Git-based rev control

    * Redline schematic/pcb diff

    * Redline BOM diff

    * Design review (Merge request)

    * Release management

    * Project wiki pages

    * .gitignore templates for HW files

    * Team and account permissions management

    We forked from Gitea - it's been an incredible project to be a part of, and we try to contribute upstream any time we are working on something that's not HW specific.
