I bought a 4k touch zenbook 4 years ago, I've expected 4k to be next common upgrade.
Yet here I am, 4 years later we have 4k 5" phones, but the vast majority of laptop are still FHD.
If you want a 4k laptop, you have to spend more than $3.000, what's going on?

But why? I have a 4K monitor and it's just enough space on a large screen for code. I play videos and games on half the resolution because it's not worth the speed cost. An undocumented downside is screensharing on 4K to a small group will crash Google Meet.
