Values I'm Starting a Company On

I think it's often more interesting which values you don't follow or where you take shortcuts.

Imagine a new coffee down the street, they have cheap coffee, lot's of choice, all organic, lot's of space, fancy interior, central location, pay their workers well.. and so on. Of course that would never work, it would be too expensive. If all it took is a perfect solution for everything, everybody would do it! That is easy.

So you need to get strategic where to cut corners. That's why it's important to know your market. Because some will want organic coffee, but don't care if it's to go. If you serve organic coffee, but have a fancy interior, you'll be at a disadvantage, because you're spending money on the interior but the client doesn't care.

I think that is also why engineers often make bad entrepreneurs. At least I was in constant disagreement with one of my engineering co founders. He always wanted the perfect solution to everything, that is what a great engineer makes. But that doesn't sell.

Your landing page shows me that you don't care about your clients. There is no design, no information, no product.. just "values" which center around yourself.

I'm not the author, but he's a member of the same incubator. If any questions come up, I can have him join here.
