Ask HN: What's your favourite, but dead business/project, that's due a revival?

From a conversation with a Friend, we reminisced about personal projects that failed, got killed or shelved, and why we might want to re-launch them again.

Sometimes business can only succeed with the right circumstances around it, from sector or market, to the economy, the Customers, the right marketing, or the technology, etc...

I'd like to know what business or projects you loved, currently defunct, that are due for a revival, and why.

Bonus (fake Internet) points if your can articulate why they failed, and why they'll succeed now.

    Icq, probably cant bé revived. I miss it. The ability to find people was amazing

    Wagon was THE best local SQL IDE on the market back in 2016. It provided automatic metadata visualizations, histograms, run history, and easy graphing for every query that you wrote, with built-in sharing for teams. It was perfect for exploring your data for the first time. Out of nowhere, Box bought them in 2016 and I have no idea what that team ended up doing. https://www.wagonhq.com/

    PopSQL has stepped in and filled 90% of the void, but I still miss Wagon.

    Wallaby Card.

    It was a multi-payment credit card idea. I didn't have one, but I really admired the way it was put together and I can't help but think they were just too early. Right now would be the perfect launch window especially if you could use it as a crypto and fiat card.
