Please stop mapping Ctrl+B to be text bold in editor

I've tried a lot of editors for writing (web and native), most of them map the Ctrl+B to be text bold (sometimes map the Control + A to be select all).

They don't know what it means. I always use Ctrl + A/F/E/B to move the cursor on macOS. If the editor hijackings these keys, I have to use arrow keys (my keyboard doesn't have arrow keys).

It's better to hijacking Modifier key instead of the Ctrl key.

Just change your keyboard instead of asking the world to adapt to your particular use case!

What is most logical? Use Ctrl/Cmd+B to make text bold, or use Ctrl/Cmd+B to move the cursor?
