    No one has lost. In fact the article itself discusses innovations that various companies are coming up with and the fact on a global scale Huawei is competitive.

    This woe is us mentality drives me nuts. There is tons of room for innovation if a business wants to take some chances. All having Apple and Samsung stagnate means that if you do have a good idea and vision, you won't immediately have that much competition.

    Samsung hasn't won the droid war in UK. This article seems to be based on the mistaken premise that America is a microcosm of the West.

    I have spent time on the Tube here is my personal observation: roughly 40 percent of commuters have iphones. Androids all look similar, but i don't think more then 20 percent of Tubers have samsungs. This is based on dozens of separate observations. I will assume that Tube goers are representative of the whole uk to a large extent.
