Only 33% done, but a more personally interesting game to me: Perfect Dark - https://github.com/n64decomp/perfect_dark

So there is a rumor that Nintendo forgot to switch an optimization flag when compiling Mario 64 and that is why we have lag in the water levels.

Since we are talking about the source code, I’m sure someone much more knowledgeable than me might be reading and could maybe confirm or deny the rumor.

This decomp is the basis for a Super Mario 64 native port to the 3DS. It's really incredible work that was done here.

Anyone knows where to get the source of that PC port some dude did? I know it was randomly released somewhere but Nintendo took it down before I was able to get a copy

Any news of DOS, Windows 95, Sony PlayStation and/or Sega Saturn ports yet?

Has anyone built any new map sets, mods, “total conversions” for it yet?
