A dedicated space with minimal disruption. Working on the dining or kitchen table was a nightmare.

    Disconnecting.

Learn to physically keep work and personal on different devices (and spaces if you need it!). Put work laptop away and out of sight when you’re done. Don’t put work slack or email on your personal phone.

This helps productivity by helping prevent burnout, giving your brain a break to hit the ground running during the work week.

I have one room which is simply just the office, nothing else. External display, keyboard, and mouse of course. No idea how people work on their laptops for a long time.

Dual monitors for sure. Noise cancelling headphones with music that helps you get into your flow state.
