    This is a perverse and unfair circular argument. Corporate America has decided that racial diversity in itself is the pre-eminent goal, taking precedence over treating every human fairly and equitably as an individual rather than as the member of some group.

    Given the false premise that maximizing diversity optimizes fair treatment and productivity, yes, it follows that race-conscious policies produce the graduates that corporate America wants.
