Ask HN: Which platform is best for building a support channel for my business?

I run CodeFund.io, an ethical advertising network that funds software developers. In the past, we have used Slack to communicate with those in our network. However, I personally have too many slack groups I belong to, and I understand that each one I add increases the memory usage of the app.

If our primary customer base is comprised of tech-savvy people, which platform should we choose to ensure the least amount of friction?
