Is 10 cents an hour a record low wage for a game dev?

Misleading clickbait title. Wage implies a hourly rate paid by an employer. This is profit divided by time on a side project.

At age 12 I earned 37 cents/hour delivering newspapers. Difference is, I was earning a wage.

I did have enough sense to calculate that pittance and bail as soon as one of my customers offered me $5 to mow his (considerable) lawn. Gave myself a raise to $2.00/hour!

I think many game developers lose money, which would make it even lower.

I'm curious where the author lives. In developing countries ten cents an hour might exist, unfortunately.
