Ask HN: What information would you include in a digital survival kit?

In the event of an emergency where you lose internet access (natural disaster, EMP, stranded on a trip), what sort of information would you want with you?

Given how cheap SD cards are, and the fact more and more phone can take them, I'm trying to make a sort of digital survival kit. Something that has the information that I don't know, but would usually Google to find out if I ever did need to know it.

The problem that arises from that is that since I currently don't know this information, I don't know to add it to the offline storage.

If you have made something like this, what did you include? And if you haven't, what sort of information do you think would be good to have.

Some things I have considered are:

  - Basic woodsman/outdoors guides
  - Flora and fauna guides
  - Maps
  - English <> foreign language dictionaries (like Spanish, French, German, Russian, and Mandarin at minimum)
  - Copy of Wikipedia (a lite version, not the full 58GB)
  - Basic electrical guides
  - Basic plumbing guides
  - Basic vehicle repair (cars, trucks, tractors)
