I run engineering for a division of a mid stage tech company in the Bay Area. I have built out the team with engineers from all over the world, from Europe to South America, though the majority are in the US. No two engineers are in the same location. We are on video and chat constantly to keep in touch.

Has anyone tried to hire interns or NCGs into this type of team? what would help them be successful? Are there interns and NCGs who would even be interested in fully remote work?

Any ideas or experiences in this area (positive or negative) would be helpful. Thanks!
