Sometimes people find such intrusive/blocking productivity tools a bit invasive. I find them alright. I personally use Rest.app for OS X which blocks my screen every 30 minutes for me to take a rest and exercise.
I would use this Chrome extension if it had a Wunderlist (I guess the most popular todo app?) integration.
