I have a feeling that certain industries lag behind the times and this seems to be something that we could hone in on as developers and product creators.

Which industries currently have the most out-dated / fragile technology? Where could a software improvement help move a large portion of the industry forward?

(Not looking for myself; I'm plenty busy. Just curious.)
